White water rafting
Scouts wear a buoyancy aid, wetsuit and helmet. In group size of 6-8 people, including a qualified instructor scouts navigate down a river including white water thrills. A real highlight activity in the alps.

Climbing and via ferrata
Younger scouts are harnessed and wear a helmet as they try to climb the dizzy heights of the 30 metre outdoor crag.

Older scouts are harnessed and wear a helmet as they traverse along a steel cable which runs along a set route fixed to the rock face, the via ferata.

Undoubtedly the highlight of the week.

The Aiguille du Midi is a 3842m peak in the Mont Blanc massif of the French Alps. This is the closest you can get to the summit of Mont-Blanc without hiking or climbing.
